These fruit acids, rich in the natural Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) lactic and citric acid, gently exfoliate the skin, removing dead cells and impurities. They prepare the skin for better absorption of serums and creams while boosting hydration. They support a smoother, softer skin with a rejuvenated, radiant complexion.

MAPLE EXTRACT

Contains Malic and Tartaric Acids belonging to the Alpha Hydroxy Acids. They help to gently exfoliate the skin and have been shown to also influence skin tone and to increase elasticity, which is an important factor for enhancing skin strength and complexion clarity.

Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate

This stabilised vitamin C penetrates well into the skin and has been shown to be converted into the active form ascorbic acid. It can lower the production of melanin (skin pigment), lighten skin tone and reduce the appearance of age spots. Vitamin C also protects against UV radiation and free radicals and supports the production of collagen.

Saccharide Isomerate (3)

This ingredient is a rare exopolysaccharide from a planktonic microorganism. Studies have shown that the ingredient can prevent melanin synthesis caused by UV radiation and environmental pollution and reduce the overall pigmentation of the epidermis.

Niacinamide

A true all-rounder: The water-soluble vitamin (B3) Niacinamide supports keratin availability in our skin, making it firm and healthy, improving the skin barrier and helping to keep it moisturised. APPLICATION

Apply morning and evening after The Cleanser & Serum. Using a little push against the tube, dispense cream into the palm of the hand. Start with a sliding motion between the eyebrows, slide up to the forehead and continue towards the temples, avoiding the eye area. Slide across the cheekbones, towards the top of the nose and continue down the Jawline to the chin. Finish by sliding with one hand around the mouth. Repeat entire pattern until absorbed. Finally follow with co:aya’s The Cream.

Ectoin

In nature, ectoin enables life in regions where very harsh conditions prevail – in (ice) deserts, hot springs and salt lakes. Its secret weapon are extremolytes – molecules that protect from the harsh environment. As an ingredient in your skincare, it forms an Ectoin Hydro-Complex with water, which moisturises the skin and at the same time forms a protective layer for the skin cells.

Hydrolyzed Soy Protein

Best of both worlds: Made from soy, this is a smart ingredient that balances combination skin. Good bacteria use the soy to produce peptides that act as seboregulators. The skin cells respond and adjust their metabolism, normalising both oily and dry skin.

Niacinamide
